Commodore Varal is one of first Vulcan's to join starfleet. He started his career as a vulcan military officer.
The councel thought that he would be good for starfleet at the age of 30, he enrolled in starfleet. He studied for security
and was assigned to the federation presideant's personal security team. He managed to save him from an attack of a renagade
radical faction. He was promoted to LTJG and the head of security of the miranda class cruiser USS Speaks. He
studied the bridge officer's and he saw the position that the tactical officer does and he wantted to be there defending the
ship against enemy ships. He then took the advanced martial arts course on Vulcan and he taught it to the crew of the
USS Speaks. It proved helpful in dangerous situations. After three years on the Speaks he was promoted to Lieutenant
and assigned as the head of starfleet security on Vulcan. He enjoyed it thourghtly and was assigned to the Deadulaes
class USS Consit. He was made the tactical officer. He was extremly satsified with this post. He was promoted
to LCDR and made put on the USS Constitution class USS Farragut. He was head of security and the tacitcal officer. He
was able to defend against two Klingons cruisers. The CO was extremly pleased with his performance and put him
in for a medal. Once the XO was rendered incapable of command and LCDR Varal took the position and he filled it. The
CO was please again with his performance and he promoted him to full Commander and recommended him for the command field and
Varal was sent to Command school. The then became the XO of the USS Oberth the prototype of the Oberth class vessel
and it was extremly successful. He served thier for four years and he was made a Captain. He was given command
of the Excelsior class USS Cloumbia the second ship of the class. He made it a famous ship by suppling items to deseratly
sick colonies near the neautral zone. He was made a Fleet Captain and he was appointed the test fleet 2XO
and the Commanding Officer of the Constitution Class USS Apollo.

The year is 2293. The new Constellation Class starship exlperor are now ready for testing. The
first ship is the USS Constellation with the registry of NX-1974. It is the first desgin with four warp nacelles. The
new Avidyne engines are the desgins of the warp drive for this new design of starship. The Constellation Class
is capable of speeds up to Warp 9.5. The test fleet has been assigned to test the ship and its capabilities.
