Captain Derek Null's BIO

Captian Null has had an interesting career. He started out the bottom of his class. He was kicked out of the academy for transporting the commendant to the frozen tundra. He served onboard a civilian frighter for about three years at the age of 25 it was attacked. At the time Derek was the polit of the frighter. He was able to evade the Klingon bird of prey. He hid in a Nebula and he was actually able to destroy the bird of prey. The CO was amazed when he learned of this. He recommended that Derek re-applied for the academy. The academy took him with the understanding that he was not to use the transporter. He started out as a sophmore. He naturally excelled in flight control. In his third year he was able to get an old class F shuttle go to warp and was able to navigate it at warp. The commendant was impressed with this. He graduated third in his class. The commendant snatched him up as his personnel polit. Ensign Null had to shuttle the Admiral back and forth al over Earth and even to other planets when the situation called for it. After five years Ensgin Null was promoted to LTJG and made the helesmen for the Miranda class USS Glass. He really enjoyed it and vowed that if he ever made it to Captian a ship that it would be a miranda class. After this assingment he was made the chief polit at starbase 14. He was also promted to LT. He coordinated the shuttles and made sure that they made thier runs for the Admirals. At one point the starbase came under attack. The stations expert polit was going to lead the defense. halfway through the battle his shuttle ws damaged and life support was lost and he died. LT Null took command and he was able to repel the Romulains. The stations commander Commodore Jonhmans was impressed and made him a Lieutenant Commander and his personnel shuttle polit. Another four years went by for this and LCDR Null did quite well. He was sent to command school and promoted to Commander and made the XO of the miranda class ship the USS Jupiter. He did quite well after serving a year the ship got into a battle with the Klingons and the CO was killed. Commander Null took command of the ship. Admiral Bell made the ship part of his test fleet and promoted Commander Null to Captain.
