Temal was born on Vulcan.  His father was a Captain in the Vulcan military.  His mother was a military advisor.  They were both very concentrated on the Vulcan and Andorian war.  He was basically raised by his grandmother Tpek. He lived on the other side of Vulcan.  He was good in school and he was facinated with the Earth and the early NX class and the Surak class that his father served on.  He was able to go on a patrol with a crew it see the effecency of them in modern use.  After that cruise he wantted to serve.  At the age of 30 he enrolled in starfleet and was accepted.  He was fond of engeering and he took advanced classes in it and graduated with high honors in engeering.  He was assigned to starbase 76 for shuttle craft effecienty.  The ship and the shuttles were much more effecienant engine output.  He was after three years there he was transfered to the USS Lexington a Constitution Class starship.  He was able to get it to warp 8.5  That was nothing he was disappionted with his abilites.  He was promoted to LTJG and sent to the Klingon home world as a gesture of good faith and he was there to get the klingon ships more engine output.  He did alright with the Klingons.  He learned some good fighting techniques.  When he got there the klingon ships were only capable of warp 6.5 for brief amounts of time.  He managed to get them to warp 7.9 for 12 consecutive hours.  He was thier for three years and the klingons threw him a toast when he left.  He was assigned to the outpost on Miranda III.  He made sure the base was up to scale and that the shields and weapons were at their most effeciant they could be.  After this assignment he was promoted to LT and assigned to the USS Wells a Miranda class starship.  He was the assistant engeering officer aboard.  He was able to get the ship out of some very dangerous situations.  He managed a few times to get the ship to velocity of warp 9 for about thirty minutes.  He was promoted to LCDR after four years aboard the USS Wells and assigned to the decommsioned ship yard.  Stored there were old NX and Daedalus class starships.  He loved that assignement.  A couple of times he was allowed to take one of the ships out for a spin and see how it operated in real life and time.  He experimented with the warp drive of the NX class to see if it is possible to get more speed out of the old warp 5 engines with the orginal engine intact.  He was assigned this by starfleet so that they had useful ships in future and a moments notice.  From the Dadalus class he managed to get thier top speed to warp 8.  The NX class he managed to get warp 6.5 out of them.  After the modifications he took out the Freedom NX-03.  He managed to get it to warp 6.5 and also he installed a shield generator.  He was promoted to CDR and sent to the shipyards on Mars.  He helped figured out the flaws of the both the Constitution and Curry class starships to make thier warp speeds more effective and faster.  His commanding officer recommended him for a command to an engeering ship.  He went to command school and was given command of the curry class USS Zues and joined the test fleet. 

The year is 2293.  The new Constellation Class starship exlperor are now ready for testing.  The first ship is the USS Constellation with the registry of NX-1974.  It is the first desgin with four warp nacelles. The new Avidyne engines are the desgins of the warp drive for this new design of starship.  The Constellation Class is capable of speeds up to Warp 9.5.   The test fleet has been assigned to test the ship and its capabilities.
